Crazy Coupon Lady

I had to start the coupon craze a few months ago and I'm so glad I did.  I've stocked up on things we use everyday and got most of it free.  It's a good thing cause I just had to drop $600 on my stupid car this morning.  Today's shopping trip includes CVS and Walmart if I have time...which is hard to find nowadays.  Love me some freebies :)

Natural Disaster Necessities

Bad storms mixed with horrid tornadoes ripped southern Indiana apart over the weekend.  It's so sad to read the stories and see pictures of the aftermath.  We've tried to be prepared in case of a disaster, but I don't think anyone is ever truly ready for something like that.  Here's a list I found of things you must have stocked up in case of a disaster or some other event making it impossible to leave your house for an extended amount of time.

Kids say the darndest things

Last night I was in my room changing into some pajama pants and Laila bursts through the door.  She says "Mommy, when I'm big, can I have a butt, too?".  I told her she already has a butt and her reply was "No, I want a big butt like you." hehehe...big?  I think not.  But thanks for the compliment ;)

Five drama-filled months

That's the only way to describe the time since I've last posted.  Too much to talk about.  But today is a new day.  Kyle has been out of town visiting his sister in Clearwater, Florida, and I haven't seen him since thursday.  I'm picking him up from the airport at 10pm tonight.  I miss him like crazy.  He works out of town a lot, and these little breaks away from each other are good for us...reminds me of how much I miss him when he's not around <3

Not Ready For Winter!

The high today is 65.  That's complete bullshit.  I'm not ready for this.  I need to move closer to the equator because this shit's for the birds!

It's been four months since I last posted.  But I'm sure no one even noticed I was gone!  That's okay...I'll just pick up where I left off and move on.  Going to an awesome new restaurant downtown for lunch today...can't wait.  Dreamed about Jax from Sons of Anarchy last night...sah-weet!!! And sitting outside in the rain for football practice tonight is gonna suck ass.
